Thank You Cards and Clutter
I was cleaning out the clutter in our room when I found the stack of thank you cards I have inserted in one of the magazines. I had forgotten that I placed them there. Room cleaning was put on hold and amidst the mess I sat down, read each one and recalled every smile that received our gifts. I had fun reading every piece—even those personally made by my cute little nieces with innocent scribbles. It is amazing how Christmas teaches us not only the spirit of love, giving and reconciliation but it also shows us the virtue of gratefulness. I guess that what it’s my favorite holiday.
