Retired Comedians for Hire
The residents of our retirement community in southern California want to have some evening entertainment. I have been chosen to locate performers willing to come on a volunteer basis, or at least for a very small fee. My committee brought up several different possible theme nights. I wondered how much might a Comedy night cost. I suppose that depends on how famous the performers are. Perhaps we might have some retired comedians in our community. In fact, a brief volunteer survey did not reveal any former comedians, but it did produce a list of friends of friends who would be willing to participate. We may even have enough performers for more than one night.
