Collecting Books
At the end of each semester, we as a department, collect all of the student text books that have been signed out. I wish that we only did this once a week, but some of the teachers like to keep their own books before the students switch teachers at the semester change. One of the most common problem we find is in the book binding. Often times it is loose and some times it is separated completely. This means that we have to fine the student to pay for the repairs of the book. Sometimes we can use hot glue and it does the job for us.
