I was not really used to having many things in the house. In our old little town, I was one of the poorest girls and now moving here in this big city to study is like a dream come true but it takes a lot of adjusting too. I was wide eyed when I saw the table floor lamp that was in my room in the dormitory.  If it was not because of the scholarship that I was awarded, I will never be able to study in this university and much more, stay in this really sophisticated room. The table floor lamp alone is enough to intimidate me. It is not that I do not like the table floor lamp, I feel intimidated because it is so beautiful and I feel so out of place.
