One of the vital Singing Tips that is taught in any singing class is to first know your limits. Ability to sing high notes or low notes, flex between the two smoothly and length of breath you are able to hold while singing a note.  It is not really advisable to sing to the fullest extent of your vocal fatigue.  Do not push your voice as you could actually strain it and the fact is it will not help you sing a higher or lower range nor will it make a stronger voice. In our history class, we were divided into four groups that would all report about the different countries covered by the syllabus. Our group was assigned to a particular country and that country was India. Now I was assigned further to music of India and that our teacher wants me to play an Indian instrument but I refused saying it would be very difficult so what I did was to invite a professional. On the day of reporting, he bought his left hand sitar and played it in front of the class. He even taught to us the history and culture of the left hand sitar and how difficult to learn it.

They say that it takes talent for one to be able to play an instrument. I, however, do not completely agree with that. Yes, if you are referring to playing an instrument by ear, then I’d say that it takes more than knowledge to be able to do so. However, I think everyone can learn how to play the guitar with the help of instructional materials.

If you are the traditional type of student, you would of course, prefer to hire a professional guitar instructor. But I would suggest against it since it can be rather impractical nowadays. You can just go ahead and look for a good learn guitar dvd and take your time to study the lessons there. And always remember to practice, practice, practice!
