A Response To “Mary L. Landrieu and Patty Murray: How to Close the Skills Gap”
What are Patty Murray’s qualifications to guide us on jobs? As I recall, before she became a politician she was an unemployed mother on welfare. That said, I don’t really believe there are no qualified candidates tos fill those jobs but rather perhaps these companies are unwilling to pay for the dog training advice required. I think they would rather petition the government to allow the immigration of more people from India who will work for lower wages.
If there truly are not people trained to do these jobs they why don’t the companies hire trainees and give them on the job training?
