Riversimple Competes With Cars Like the Aptera

The Aptera electric car now has more competition. A car run on hydrogen is being produced to help move away from conventionally driven fuels. The car is called the Riversimple, and is a two-seater, having a top speed of 50mph. It can go around 240 miles without having to refuel. Generally even the most energy efficient petrol cars produce about 150g, but the Riversimple produces just 31g of CO2 for every kilometre. One other major difference with this car though is that it will not be up for sale when it goes into production in 2013. The cars will only be leased, and the package will include fuel and maintenance.
